La Traviata at Kuressaare Episcopal Castle
All passengers will attend Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata in the breathtaking Kuressaare Episcopal Castle.
The performance takes place in a 700-year-old medieval setting, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for this world-class opera experience.
The production is performed by the Italian opera company Teatro Goldoni. Tickets in the yellow and blue seating categories are included in the cruise package.
Itinerary
Tuesday 21 July - Departure from Helsinki
The cruise departs from Helsinki West Harbour at 18:35 aboard the Victoria ship, heading towards Saaremaa. The evening is spent enjoying onboard entertainment and a themed opera atmosphere.
Optional bus transfers are available from across Finland, including routes such as:
Parkano – Ikaalinen – Tampere – Hämeenlinna – Helsinki
Kankaanpää – Pori – Huittinen – Helsinki
Raisio – Turku – Salo – Helsinki
Kouvola – Lahti – Helsinki
Wednesday 22 July - Saaremaa
Arrival in Saaremaa at 10:00.
During the day, guests have time to explore Kuressaare and enjoy the island’s unique atmosphere.
Transfers between port and Kuressaare
Shuttle buses operate from the port to Kuressaare at 10:00 and 12:00.
Return transfers from Kuressaare to the port depart at 18:30 and 20:30.
Opera performance at 14:00
The performance begins at 14:00. We recommend arriving approximately one hour in advance. Duration is approximately 3 hours including intermissions.
At 22:00, the ship departs for the return journey to Helsinki.
Thursday 23 July - Return to Helsinki
A relaxed morning onboard enjoying the ship’s services and atmosphere at sea.
Arrival in Helsinki at 13:00.
